Film Has Arrived!

Film is making a powerful comeback, and I am SO excited to announce that it is now available with Photography by Anna for a full session or as an add-on to all current packages. As a Photographer native to Rochester, NY, where Kodak was founded, I have a special connection to film, its history, the beauty and creativity that it brings to any session. Film offers a distinct look and feel that digital often can’t replicate, making your memories stand out with timeless quality.

Why Choose Film for Your Sessions

Film photography captures light and color in a way that feels authentic and dreamy. Unlike digital images, film has a natural grain and adds character to every shot. 

How Film Sessions Work

Film sessions can be booked as standalone experiences or added to existing packages. Here’s what to expect:

• Session length: Film shoots typically last between 30 minutes to 1 hour, depending on multiple factors including number of people and location.

• Number of exposures: Film rolls usually contain 24 or 36 exposures, so each shot counts. Each session includes one whole roll of film and additional rolls can be added for an additional fee.

• Processing time: The rolls of film will be developed by a 3rd party and the digital album will be delivered within one to two weeks of the shoot. 

• Delivery: You receive high-resolution digital scans of your film images. The physical negatives can also be provided if requested. This approach balances the charm of film with the convenience of digital access.

  
  
  

  

  
  
  

Pricing

• Full Film Session: $300. Includes one roll of film (36 exposures). Additional roles can be purchased for $25
